This 15 day safari features several days of game-viewing in the Serengeti - of game-viewing in the Serengeti - enough days in one place to really find the animals and perhaps view part of the Migration.

Day 1 - 2: Arusha

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 3 - 4: Ndarakwai Ranch

Following breakfast, depart with your guide and vehicle and road transfer to Ndarakwai Ranch. Enjoy a day of activities. A wide variety of cultural activities are offered, including meeting and walking with Ranch game scouts, who protect the wildlife; or visiting local Maasai villages set in classic African acacia landscape, and buying authentic beaded jewelry. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 5 - 6: Tarangire

Depart this morning to Tarangire Park, stopping for lunch at Tarangire Safari Lodge and continuing to your camp, game viewing enroute. This evening enjoy a shared night game drive. Activities include day game drives in the park and guided walking safaris. Night game drives were recently introduced and enhanced by night goggles to spot wildlife. If you are staying more than two nights, please inquire about fly camping. Two nights at the lodge.

Day 7 - 8: Lake Manyara

Continue to Lake Manyara arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Onwards to the Mto wa Mbu market, home to over 80 tribes and an orphanage. In your down time, you can enjoy the wine cellar, boutique, horseback riding, biking, coffee tasting and tours of the estate. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a private site (total viewing time allowed by National Parks is approximately six hours). Overnight at the lodge.

Day 9 - 11: Serengeti

This morning depart with a lodge representative for a road transfer to the Lake Manyara airstrip. Board your scheduled charter flight to the Serengeti. On arrival you will be met by your private guide and game drive enroute to your camp, which will be situated in the same site for the next three nights (as close as possible) according to predicted game movements. Enjoy two days of game viewing in the Serengeti.  Overnight at the lodge.

Day 12 - 13: Serengeti

Leave your camp and game drive en route to your next camp, located in the northern region of the Serengeti. Enjoy an additional two days of game viewing based from this camp. Activities include open vehicle game drives, fly camping expeditions and exceptional wildlife viewing. Walking safaris within the Serengeti are offered (additional charges apply). A cultural visit to the Wakuria villages gives you insight in the traditional ways of life. You will see the new vegetable growing program sponsored by Sayari in conjunction with the local community and the produce is purchased and used in the camp’s cuisine. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 14 - 15: Arusha

Transfer to the airstrip for your morning scheduled charter flight to Arusha. Transfer to your hotel, where a dayroom has been reserved for you. Have lunch and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. An optional tour of Arusha Town can be arranged including a visit to a local school, shopping or just relaxing by the pool. Arrival in Europe this morning where you make an onward connecting flight. Welcome home!
